After a successful debut last year in 2021, Earl Bamber Motorsport (EBM) will return for a second consecutive year to the Porsche Sprint Challenge France held at the infamous Circuit de la Sarthe, on June 6-10, 2022. The event runs in the lead up to the 90th running of the 24 Hours of Le Mans this coming weekend, and will feature five days of on-site action for the team.
After achieving a P3 finish overall last year, Adrian D’Silva returns to the helm of the Porsche GT3R in hopes of securing yet another Rolex Podium finish. As an avid racing fan, and long-time customer of EBM, he is excited for what the week has in store.
The 24-Hours of Le Mans is the most enduring and prestigious endurance sportscar event of its kind, which EBM Team Owner Earl Bamber has won twice before, once in 2015 and in 2017.
D’Silva said, “To have the opportunity to drive on this legendary track alongside this year’s 24-Hours of Le Mans race event is a privilege.”
The Porsche Sprint Challenge France race, is one of many back-to-back events in the team’s busy European season. Having just competed in the Fanatec GT World Challenge Paul Ricard 1000KM, the team will continue on to Spa from Le Mans to compete in GT Open (17-19 June) in partnership with Singha Racing Team TP12, as well as attending Spa Test ahead of the Total Energies 24 Hours of Spa (28-1 July, 2022), where they will run a two-car entry in the endurance race.
The Porsche Sprint Challenge France race will be held June 10, 2022 at 9:30am CEST.
